100th Day of School

Today was the 100th Day of School for Gracie. She was so excited about going and finding out what Miss O'Donnell had in store for them today. All the students were asked to bring in several things for the day but I think with all the fun they were having they didn't get to most of what they wanted to. I asked her what her favorite part of the day was and she told me going to the Auditorium and popping balloons. They went upstairs and found 100 balloons in there and they had to pop them all. They counted all the way to 100 on the way up there. I know all of this as the local news came to the school and taped this. We taped the news and we watched it about 100 times tonight. It was really cute.

Miss O'Donnell asked the parents to supply her with a white shirt for the day. She brought it home last week and I loved it. It says I SURVIVED 100 DAYS IN KINDERGARTEN. So simply but cute.

One of their projects to do at home for the 100th day was to make something out of 100 things. So, we choose to make a cereal necklace. We strung Fruit Loops on a ribbon. She was so proud of her artwork.
